Just Rich Gates & Skeezy Scott " Tony Richtana 3 Hosted by Dj Red Skull & Dj Asap" |Rap Nerd Reviews

Updated: Nov 24, 2022

That classic trap mixtape sound that we all fell in love with around 2005 never went away. The hard hitting 808's and unapologetic street bars do something for my spirit. Just Rich Gates & Skeezy Scott just dropped "Tony Richtana 3 Hosted by Dj Red Skull & Dj Asap and its full of bangers. Gates and Scott are the new voices of the streets. The 14 track project is hosted exclusively on Live mixtapes.com and has features & drops from down south legends!

The production is on point and the project is filled with hood legends. Slim Dunkin, Project Pat, Juicy J, Gucci Mane, and more can all be heard on this tape cosigning the JCE family. Just Rich Gates and Skeezy Scott have two different styles that compliment each other very well. My favorite tracks on the project are "Pockets Low (feat. Project Pat)", "Bottles Up", "Envy", and "Still Stunting (feat. Slim Dunkin). It felt great to hear Dunk at the end of the mixtape reminding us all how talented he was. God rest his soul. The Brick squad sound can be heard all throughout the tape. Some of the songs are less aggressive, and just a great vibe like track 2, "Hollywood Nights". A few beats on here sound east coast inspired too, so overall there's a great balance.

"Close one's envy but the strangers show love/ fake smiles, fake hugs"
Skeezy Scott - "Envy"

This is a super solid mixtape from top t bottom, and something great to ride around to . It's motivation for the streets, and makes you want to get up and get money. We only have one life to live, so we may as well get our grind on while we're here, hustle everyday for our families and ball 'til we fall. I would have liked to hear some different concepts, like maybe some story telling or just deeper more vulnerable and relatable subject matter for the fans that aren't in the streets, or don't yet live that lavish life Gates and Skeezy rap about. I look forward to hearing more from them, and I suggest you all check out this mixtape!

TAP IN WITH Just Rich Gates & Skeezy Scott ---👇🏼
